  上世纪九十年代,PC-Based工业计算机迅速发展,产业初步形成。进入本世纪,嵌入式计算与通信技术的发展异彩纷呈,技术进一步融合,工业计算机发展到Fabric-based的新阶段。
 
  与之相应,CPCI也融入串行通信技术,继CPCI Express之后,2011年PICMG发布了CompactPCI Serial规范,用超高速串行点到点连接取代并行CPCI总线,通过一个全新的连接器实现了更高的信号密度和12 Gb/s传输频率,在一个8外设槽的系统背板上实现了PCI Express、SATA、USB和以太网信号而无需交换与桥接,同时遵循IEC 1101机械标准保持与CompactPCI的机械兼容性。CompactPCI Serial非常适用于加固和关键业务环境,在车载(铁路、公路、舰船)和军用领域具有广泛应用前景。
 
  而在测量与测试领域,PXI也全面迈向PXI Express,PXI Express通过利用快速总线大幅提高吞吐量,显著改进了平台的性能。这一优势使得现有商用硬件无法支持的新型应用成为可能,其中包括RF与通信测量、混合信号ASIC表征、信号情报和数字视频测试等。与以往相比,客户能够创建高精确的自动化测试系统,不仅测试时间更短,而且测试功能也更为强大。
 
  嵌入式系统目前正在朝着智能化、网络化方向发展,产品从结构简单、功能单一向复杂、功能强大转变。嵌入式系统的开发与设计大都有专有的应用目标,要从软硬件上其进行量身定制,并且满足特定应用领域的各项技术指标,开发周期时间一般较长,而市场竞争则要求产品能够快速上市。模块化和标准化是可以缩短嵌入式产品开发周期、提高系统资源复用率、降低产品成本的一种有效解决方案。本届年会将就“嵌入式计算的标准化与客制化”进行讨论。
 
  中国计算机行业协会PICMG/P.R.C定于2011年10月27日在北京召开“第十届中国PICMG技术年会”。 国内外知名平台提供商、板卡厂商和系统集成商、用户之间可以进行面对面的交流。在会议现场我们还将安排产品的展示和解决方案的演示,包括ATCA/CPCI/PXI/COM等各种规格的嵌入式计算与通信技术。
 
  十年磨一剑,“第十届中国PICMG技术年会”是我国嵌入式计算与通信业界的重磅会议,集中探讨ATCA/CPCI产业所面临的问题,展望未来的发展道路。论坛将通过主题演讲、圆桌讨论等各种形式将ATCA/CPCI产业相关领域的人士齐集一堂,进行广泛的技术、市场方向的交流,探讨产业热点和市场趋势,就国内ATCA/CPCI产业发展面临的机遇与挑战,站在宏观角度,把握和观察行业发展,探讨ATC/CPCI产业链的整体走势及上下游相关行业和产品的开发与市场拓展,对行业发展存在的问题共同寻找解决方案,是最为重要的专业的ATCA/CPCI国际论坛。
